R.I., Mass. among most peaceful states
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - A new report suggests Southern New England is among the most peaceful places to live in the U.S. According to the first-ever United States Peace Index , created by the Institute for Economics and Peace , Rhode Island ranks as the 8th most peaceful state in the country.
