US, China To Hold Human Rights Talks Next Week
(RTTNews) - The United States and China will hold talks on human rights in Beijing next week amid growing Chinese intolerance to dissent and continued crackdown on government critics. The U.S. State Department said on Thursday that next week's dialog between the two countries would focus on "human rights developments, including the recent negative trend of forced disappearances, extra-legal detentions, and arrests and convictions."
