MELBOURNE Feb 9 (Reuters) - Australia's Ansell Ltd
beat analyst forecasts with a 12 percent rise in first-half
profit on strength in demand for gloves from U.S. manufacturers,
but said it expects latex costs to remain high.
The gloves and condoms maker said on Wednesday net profit
rose to $61.0 million from $54.3 million. Profit from ordinary activities attributable to members was
up 4.5 percent in the half
