Brazil Futures Yields Rise for Fifth Week on CPI; Real Falls

Yields on Brazilian interest-rate
futures contracts gained for a fifth straight week as traders
increased bets policy makers will raise borrowing costs to
contain inflation.
The yield on the contract due in January 2013 rose six
basis points this week, or 0.06 percentage point, to 12.91
percent at 3 p.m. New York time. The yield increased nine basis
points today.
