The French forwards, though, must be prepared to grind it out against Ireland,
who surely will not play it as fast and loose up front as the Scots. France
may be technically excellent at scrum time, not to mention downright
ferocious, but their line-out is not so commanding and they find it as
difficult to defend the rolling maul as any team.
Psychologically, there will be an interesting game going on as well. French
