Steuben fugitive arrested in India
ANGOLA – A man wanted on a murder charge in Steuben County for more than 20 years has been arrested in New Delhi. The Steuben County Prosecutor’s Office said Friday that Indian police arrested Mahfuz Huq on a murder warrant. Huq is accused of fatally stabbing 19-year-old Todd R. Kelley of Hamilton Lake in August 1989. Huq was 22 at the time. Kelley was apparently dating Huq’s former girlfriend at the time of the stabbing. Huq allegedly threatened his ex-girlfriend in July 1989, saying
