European Stocks Fluctuate; Holcim Drops, Shares of Actelion Gain
European stocks swung between gains and losses as companies from Holcim Ltd. to Alstom SA reported earnings that missed analysts’ estimates, offsetting better than forecast profit at BNP Paribas SA and a rally at Actelion Ltd. Asian shares fell and U.S.-index futures gained.
