TPG Capital, the U.S. leveraged
buyout firm, may be among a number of private equity companies
in talks to invest in Bank of Ireland Plc, the Sunday Business
Post reported, without citing where it got the information from.
The Dublin-based bank, seeking to raise 5.2 billion euros
($7.4 billion) of capital, said yesterday it was in “active
discussions with other sources of private capital” as it
published a prospects ahead of a share sale next
