An East Lyme teacher has been charged with three counts of second-degree sexual assault.
Amy Schneider, 25, was arrested Friday. She is a music teacher at East Lyme Middle School and a band instructor at East Lyme High School according to minutes from a Board of Education meeting.
Her status at the schools was not known Friday.
Arrest warrants in the case are sealed, and police would not say who Schneider is accused of sexually assaulting. In Connecticut, Second-degree sexual assault
