SAO PAULO Jan 31 (Reuters) - Brazilian securities firm BTG
Pactual agreed on Monday to pay 450 million reais
($268 million) to buy a 37.6 percent stake in troubled lender
Banco PanAmericano (BPNM4.SA) from controlling shareholder
Grupo Silvio Santos.
BTG Pactual agreed with state-run Caixa Economica Federal,
which controls 36.6 percent of PanAmericano, to buy out
minority shareholders by offering 4.89 reais
