Vodafone Egypt and France Telecom have issued statements saying that they have restored some service to their Egyptian customers.
As The Washington Post's BlogPost reported on Saturday, Vodafone posted the following message on its international Web site, saying that it was merely complying with the orders of the government. Vodafone Egypt's Web site is still down.
Saturday 29 January 2011. Vodafone restored voice services to our customers in Egypt this morning, as soon as we were able.
